Rihanna was born on the Caribbean island of Barbados nation as the first of three children to Ronald Fenty, A Barbadian of Irish background, and Monica Fenty, A Guyanese descent of Barbados. She has two younger brothers named Rorrey and Rajad.

Rihanna did her primary education at Charles F. Broome Memorial School and her secondary education at one of Barbados' top secondary schools, the prestigious Combermere School, where they formed a musical trio with two of her classmates.

She won the Miss Combermere Pageant in 2004! However, starting in 2006, its most prominent pursuit is sung. In November 2004 she performed Colors of the Combermere School show, where she sang Mariah Carey's "Hero".

Rihanna received her big breakthrough at the age of fifteen when one of her friends introduced her to music producer Evan Rogers while he was on holiday in Barbados Barbados with his wife Jackie.
