Megan Denise Fox (born May 16 1986) is an American actress and model, perhaps best known for her roles on the television series Hope & Faith and in the 2007 film Transformers. Fox was born in Oak Ridge, Tennessee and has Irish, French and Native American ancestry. She grew up in a 'very poor' household and has one older sister. Fox began her training in drama and dance at the age of 5, then moved to Florida when she was 10 years old, continuing her training, and finishing school.

Fox has appeared in a five page spread for the November 2005 issue of the popular men's magazine FHM and was ranked number sixty-eight on the FHM 100 Sexiest Women of 2006. She also posed for the March 2007 issue of FHM, the June 2007 issue of GQ and the July 2007 issue of Maxim. Fox is represented by The Gersh Agency.
